Sun Tzu is credited with the phrase “Keep your friends close; keep your enemies closer.”
I have recently had a business deal go sour on me and unfortunately I did not heed this important lesson.
Listen to this podcast and you will hear all of the ins and outs of the deal – but the long and the short is I really should have not reacted quite so quickly to an email calling our agreed deal off.
Yes, it was poor, yes, it was a disgraceful act…
But…
With a bit of diplomacy on my behalf – I probably would have gotten my funds which were sitting in Escrow – back easier and sooner.
Lesson learnt 😠
